Back to Piano

Harriette received her degree in Music Education from Mew York university. She began piano lessons at a young age, and studied with Clara Husserl who taught Liberace. Because she was taught by Clara, who was taught by Leschetitsky, who was taught by Czerny, who was taught by Liszt, who was taught by Beethoven, any of Harriette's can be said to be a direct "musical" descendent of Beethoven!

Harriette has also taught kindergarten music classes and compensatory education at public schools. She has also spent many years performing both piano and voice, often acting as her own accompanist. Raising her two sons and participating in her grand daughter's lives has been the great joy of her life. Harriette received a Heart Grant from the Union County Division of Cultural Affairs funding a series of performances at Community Centers, Libraries and Senior Centers.
