Patricia is a highly educated musician who completed her BA in May 1995 at SUNY Oswego, cum laude with a major in music and minor in psychology. She studied at Western Michigan University, received a MA in music performance (oboe), at the University of Iowa and received a DMA (oboe) from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.

Patricia has been teaching private music lessons (oboe, flute, saxophone) since June 1996. She was a Fife instructor with Towpath Volunteer Fife and Drum Corps and music instructor (band instruments and beginning piano) at Braselton’s Music (Marion, NY). She was also an oboe instructor at Andrews University (Berrien Springs, MI), and taught an oboe methods class at Western Michigan University (as part of the responsibilities of the oboe graduate teaching assistantship).

As a performer, Patrcicia played English horn for the Kansas City Puccini Festival , was a member of the Wind Ensemble and the Conservatory Orchestra at the University of Missouri. and played with the Symphonic Band, University Orchestra, Western Winds, and the Graduate Woodwind Quintet at Western Michigan University. She played oboe/English horn with the Finger Lakes Symphony Orchestra. Patricia was a member of the Symphony Band, University Orchestra and Double Reed Ensemble at the University of Iowa. She performed two optional recitals and an MA degree recital at the University of Iowa, and a lecture-recital in Moravia, NY. Patricia freelanced in the Central New York Region including playing with the Summer Savoyards pit orchestra, Oswego City Concert Band, and the Harbor Winds Quintet.
