This is an introductory class to guide students through the basics of guitar. Topics include tuning, playing position, musical symbols, notes in first position, rhythms, strumming, and easy chords.

- Guitar- Nylon string is preferred. Guitars can be rented or purchased from Elefante Music.

Meet the Instructor – Josh McNally
Meet the Instructor – Josh McNally
Josh has over a decade of classical guitar experience and a BA in Psychology from the University of Delaware. He is the son of two professional musicians and gained a passion for music from a young age, making him an ideal teacher for any beginning student. Josh has additional experience writing, recording, publishing, and producing music utilizing the digital audio workstation (DAW) called FL Studio. Josh specializes in teaching classical guitar techniques and pedagogy, and believes that if a person learns classical technique, they can play any style of music with ease.
