Elefante Music & School for the Performing Arts specializes in educational and retail instrumental rentals, repairs, and sales, as well as lessons and performing arts classes. We are hiring for a full-time year-round front counter position at our New Providence and Scotch Plains stores. We are looking for organized, detail-oriented people who possess the following skills and qualities:
- A passion for music and a commitment to continuously learning about new instruments and accessories
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role or music-related field
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and punctuality
As a store associate, you will use your skills to build client relationships while assisting the team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the utmost customer satisfaction
- Sharing your knowledge and passion for music by offering guidance to customers
- Building and maintaining client relationships through effective communication and personalized service
- Assisting customers with instrument rentals and sales
- Collaborating with our team to create a positive and engaging in-store experience for customers
This position requires flexibility, including evening and Saturday hours.
