Broadway Musical Director Joe Elefante is once again at the helm of this popular camp! Returning campers: get ready for another amazing summer! New campers: you won't believe how much fun you're going to have singing, dancing, acting, and making friends and lifelong memories! This year's camp theme is "Everyone's a Winner: An exciting exploration of Broadway's Tony nominated musicals". This theme will provide our campers with wonderful musical numbers to perform as they learn about top Broadway musicals from the golden age of musical theater to today!

Morning Session - In the morning we participate in skill-based classes in dance, acting and musical theater.

Lunch - During nice weather we will eat on the patio at Zita's; campers can bring money for ice cream.

Wildcard Session - After lunch there will be a "wildcard" session in which we do something different each day. Past wildcards have includes: master classes with Broadway, film, and T.V. star Stephanie Kurtzuba (whose recent credits include great roles in the latest "Annie" movie, and Broadway's "Billy Elliot"), master classes with film, T.V. and Broadway casting directors Paul Russell and Bobby Cline, workshop with technical director Brian Lynch, Hip-Hop Choreography, Theater Dance with Laura Chaneski, Playwriting, Poster Design, Musical Theater History and Voice Class.

Afternoon Session (Performance Workshop) - The last two hours of camp is our Performance Workshop, where we will be preparing for our performance which will be held on the Friday night at the end of each session, onstage at the beautiful Hauser Theater at Pingry in Basking Ridge!

Musical Theater Camp is divided into 4 age groupings: Campers entering K through 2nd grade ("The Littles"); campers entering 3rd through 5th grade ("The Elems"); campers entering 6th through 8th grade ("The Mids"); and campers entering 9th through 12 grade or entering Freshman year of college ("The Highs"). "The Elems" and above follow the above-listed morning class rotations within their respective age group, but at lunchtime and beyond all age groups combine for wildcards and full company rehearsal. "The Littles" follow their own specialized schedule, which covers acting, singing, dancing, puppetry, arts & crafts and more, but which does not adhere to a set morning rotation. "The Littles" often combine with the other age divisions and with the full company to rehearse small- and large-group numbers.
