Meet the Instructor – Patrick Ritter
Patrick is a guitarist and drummer with over a decade of experience. Originally a self taught drummer, he also took guitar lessons from New York guitarist Andee Blacksugar, who is currently the touring guitarist for Blondie. Patrick has played with multiple bands and has performed at New Jersey venues Crossroads in Garwood and The Vogel in Red Bank. He has also recorded guitar for multiple independent artists. During his time at Seton Hall, he was the music director of the New Jersey radio station WSOU for 2 years, interviewing several legendary artists and immersing himself in the rock and metal scene. Patrick’s main interest is rock and metal, but he is also experienced in funk and jazz guitar, giving him a diverse set of skills and techniques to teach aspiring musicians how to play their favorite songs with ease.
