Shrek Audition, Rehearsal, and Performance Details

Auditions for Shrek Jr are Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th by appointment only in our New Providence studios. Shrek Jr is open to performers aged 8–18.
Rehearsals will be held in our New Providence studio from 6:45–8:45 on Mondays and Wednesdays, mid-September through the end of January.
Six fully-staged performances will be at the Madison Community Arts Center on Thurs 1/22, Fri 1/23, Sat 1/24, Sun 1/25 at 7pm with matinees on Sat 1/24 and Sun 1/25 at 3pm!

We will be seeing a small group of performers per listed time slot. If a time slot is already full, it will not appear on the list. If you can’t make it to an in-person audition (strongly recommended and greatly preferred), scroll down to the bottom of the list to select the option of submitting a video audition. Note: if sending a video, the performer should present the same two audition cuts that are listed on the audition page that will be sent to you after you submit this appointment form. The video is due by Sunday, Setember 14th.

Conflicts(Required)

At this time, please check your school and personal calendars for any and all activities and events that conflict with the dates shown on the rehearsal and performance schedule displayed above. The conflicts that you list below will be considered to be a complete and final list; no additional conflict dates will be accepted if they are not listed below. With the exception of your listed conflicts (and in cases of illness), you will be expected to attend all rehearsals and performances. A failure to adhere to the attendance policy may result in your role being reassigned or in dismissal from the cast. If you have no conflicts, please write “NO CONFLICTS”. With the exception of your listed conflicts, you will be expected to regard this activity as your prior commitment, and any conflicts not known at this time will not be accepted at a later date.
