Musical Theater Intensive 2024 FAQs

All campers must arrive by 9:30am. Pick-up is promptly at 3:30pm. Campers will enter and exit via the arts wing entrance. The entrance is clearly marked on the Camp Welcome Letter that you will receive upon registration. Parents need to park and walk their campers to and from the door, as car lines are not allowed.

9:30: Arrival 
9:45-10:45: Conservatory-Style Class
10:45-11:45: Lunch
11:45-3:30: Rehearsal
3:30: Dismissal 

Each show will be performed 3 times.

Tickets will be $15 per ticket. Tickets will be sold online when camp starts

Yes! Callbacks will take place in person at Elefante Music in New Providence.  Callbacks for Seussical will be held on Saturday, April 27 from 4pm-7pm; callbacks for Legally Blonde will be held on Sunday, April 28 from 9am-12pm.

Absolutely! All campers will be featured in multiple numbers in the show. Whether you are playing a leading role or are a member of the ensemble, you will have a great time!

Registration will be sent via email to all students who are accepted into the intensive program. 7th and 8th graders who are not accepted also have the option to enroll in our classic musical theater camp! 

Yes. All campers in the Musical Theater Intensive must come to camp in proper black rehearsal attire (leggings or pants with tank tops, t-shirts, or leotards are acceptable). All campers must have black jazz shoes. Hair should be out of your face.

No. Pingry does not allow any outside food due to allergy risks.
