Sassy, the Musical

Want to be in a musical? We’ve got a SASSY one for you!

Definitions of the word sassy, paint the term in a negative light:
SASSY, adjective. improperly forward or bold. synonyms: fresh, impertinent, impudent, overbold, saucy, smart, wise forward. Used in terms of temperament or behavior; lacking restraint or modesty.”

Wait, what? Aren’t we told to be smart, wise, forward, and bold? But we’re not supposed to be OVERbold, fresh, impertinent, or (gasp!) improper? Why are the rules so confusing? What’s a sassy kid to do? Sassy, the Musical explores these questions and takes the view that being bold, brave, and brazen is a GOOD thing! Hey, it’s OK to slay!

With an engaging original script, fantastic songs, and flashy dance routines, Sassy, the Musical is the perfect show for pre-teens and teens.

Students hone musical theater technique as they sing, dance, and act in this lively musical.
